Beta Testing Terms & Conditions

1. Beta Program Overview

By participating in the Fontis Beta Program, you agree to test pre-release software and provide feedback to help improve the product.

2. Confidentiality

The beta software is confidential. You agree not to share, distribute, or publicly discuss features, functionality, or performance of the beta version without prior written consent.

3. Software License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the beta software solely for testing purposes. This license may be revoked at any time.

4. No Warranty

The beta software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Use at your own risk. We recommend backing up your work regularly.

5. Feedback & Data Collection

We may collect usage data, error reports, and feedback to improve the product. By participating, you consent to this data collection.

6. Updates & Downloads

The installer will download updates from our private repository. You agree to receive automatic updates during the beta period.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate beta access at any time. The beta program will end when we launch the public release.

8. Privacy

Your personal information will be used solely for beta program administration and will not be shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

I understand that Pierian Ltd will process my personal data for the purposes of evaluating my beta application and administering the beta program, as described in the Privacy Policy, including: *

Verifying my University of Exeter affiliation (necessary for eligibility assessment)
Evaluating my application and deciding on acceptance
If approved: providing beta access, tracking downloads, activation, and usage data to fulfill the beta testing agreement
If rejected: deleting my data within 30 days (unless I consent to keep me informed below)

Optional: I consent to receiving updates about Fontis development and public launch via email, even if I'm not accepted into the beta program. I can withdraw this consent and unsubscribe at any time.

Note for rejected applicants: If you are not selected for the beta and do NOT check this box, your data will be deleted within 30 days. If you DO check this box, we will retain only your email address and name to send you updates (you can unsubscribe anytime).
